About us

Charity Crowdfund NPC serves communities through practical, consistent support. We start with immediate needs: hunger relief through weekly bread distribution and cooked meals. As support grows we expand into work that strengthens a community for longer, like waterwells.

Founded by Muslims and guided by Islamic principles of charity and compassion. The work is carried out sincerely for the pleasure of Allah, while remaining inclusive and accessible to all.

“The most beloved of deeds to Allah are those that are done consistently, even if they are small.”

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

You, today

No dhikr yet today.

Goal

Why these words

SubhanAllah

“Two words light on the tongue, heavy on the scales, beloved to the Most Merciful: SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi, SubhanAllahil-‘Azīm.” — Bukhārī & Muslim

Alhamdulillah

“Purity is half of faith, and Alhamdulillah fills the scale.” — Sahīh Muslim

Allahu Akbar

“The most beloved words to Allah are four: SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar.” — Sahīh Muslim

Salawat

“Whoever sends one blessing upon me, Allah sends ten upon him.” — Sahīh Muslim

The big numbers are everyone's, and refresh while this is open. Your own count for today stays on this phone. A good word, a smile, and clearing something harmful from the road are charity too (Bukhārī, Muslim, Tirmidhī).

The Waqf

An endowment. Give once; it gives forever.

∞

The Waqf · An Endowment

A gift that gives forever.

Give once. Let it be invested, grown, and turned into an asset that gives in your name, for generations.

إِذَا مَاتَ الْإِنْسَانُ انْقَطَعَ عَنْهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ: صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ …

“When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.”

Sahīh Muslim

The idea

What is a Waqf?

A Waqf is an endowment. Instead of being spent once and gone, the gift is held and protected forever: the capital is never touched. It is put to work, and only what it earns is given to those in need.

A well dug a thousand years ago that still gives water today. An orchard whose fruit still feeds the hungry. The reward flows back to the giver long after they are gone, with every act of good it produces.

“One gift. Given once. Yet giving still, a hundred years from now.”

How it works · where we are

Stage 01 · We are here

You give

Your contribution is pooled into the Waqf fund. From this moment the capital is ring-fenced: set aside and protected, never spent on once-off costs.

Stage 02 · Next

We invest & grow

The pooled capital is placed into Shariah-compliant funds (ethical, halal and screened), growing patiently, with returns reinvested.

Stage 03 · Then

We acquire an asset

Once large enough, we acquire a real income-generating asset: property or a productive halal holding that produces steady income.

Stage 04 · Forever

It gives, without end

The asset is held in perpetuity and never sold. Its income funds our projects year after year, in the names of everyone who gave.

∞

Every contribution is recorded and ring-fenced. We will report transparently at each milestone, from the first Rand collected to the day the asset begins to give.

This is a Waqf contribution. Your capital is endowed permanently. Only the returns it earns are ever spent, on charity, forever.

R20 = a whole loaf of bread

I am a whole loaf of bread! 🍞 Cut me up and I am 20 slices. That is 10 sandwiches. 10!

R35 = a whole hot plate of food

I am a hot plate of food! 🍲 It takes 12 spoonfuls to fill me up. I come out of a pot that makes 100 plates.

R25 = clean water for one whole person

I am clean water for one whole person! 💧 That is 8 glasses every single day. 2 920 glasses in one year. Every year.

Why do we give?

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said the deeds Allah loves most are the small ones that you keep on doing. One loaf, every week, is a big thing.
